Reduced Prices On All Silk Ties For Christmas

Getting into the festive spirit we have reduced the prices on our entire stock of pure silk ties until the end of the year. For example Stefano Ricci ties imported from Italy are now $250 each, down from $350 and $400, whilst all other silk ties have been reduced to $100 from $200. All would make excellent gifts.

New Bespoke Shirt Fabrics

I am delighted to say that demand for our bespoke shirts has been very brisk indeed in recent months. If you are thinking of placing an order for shirts you may be interested to know that we have recently received new fabric books from Italy and Switzerland to augment our already formidable selection of colours, patterns and fabric types. Most of our bespoke shirts continue to be made here in Sydney, whilst in order to offer our clients the broadest possible choice of fabrics and styles certain of our shirts continue to be made by a small family firm in Florence. Delivery normally takes about four weeks but over the Christmas and New Year period you would be advised to allow a couple of weeks extra.

J. H. Cutler In The Media

As I suggested in my last newsletter we continue to receive excellent coverage in the media. In a first for us J. H. Cutler was prominently featured in an article entitled “Bespoke tailors and their customers are cut from a different cloth” that was published in the International Herald Tribune on 15th October. I was delighted to receive positive feedback from several clients who read the paper. Yet another article “Tailor Made” appeared in edition 37 of the Lexus magazine that was distributed to Lexus owners in Australia and New Zealand, also in October. And finally on 17th November I was delighted to contribute to an article by Luke Malone on the www.smh.com.au website entitled “Suit up like Barak Obama”.

Christmas and New Year Trading

We will be open up until 3pm on Friday 23rd December if you have a suit that you wish to pick up before Christmas, or if you need to do any last minute Christmas shopping. We have a range of gift options that might well be of interest including Italian leather belts, Irish linen handkerchiefs, long socks gentlemen's braces, cufflinks, and as I have already mentioned, silk ties.

After the Christmas and New Year break we will reopen on Monday 16th January.
